From a historic perspective, the co-founder of MyOnlineToolbox began his journey in marketing about 40 years when creating one of the first software companies for apparel manufacturing. That company became very successful working with some of the largest international brands in the industry – and industry that breathes marketing as the core of their business. From there the co-founder moved into creating a rapid development tool for Java. We like to say this was our most successful failure in our business journey. The product and marketing were phenomenally unique yet the timing to launch the new business was terrible. This failure led into the creation of the third business that became an international success story. That business grew beyond the plan and then the co-founder sold his interests.
We entered the construction industry from a software perspective. We were among the earliest to provide software before many of prevailing software platforms became available. We had so many early adopters of our package and one small issue turned the company into who we are today. We had a quarterly newsletter that was delivered via the mail. One day we mentioned our disappointment not knowing much about our clients since so many did not have any form of online marketing. We provided a few superficial suggestions. The phones started to ring asking for a little consulting advice, which then became an avalanche of more than one hundred companies paying more for consulting then paying for the software. We were forced to come up with a more efficient method and that was the birth of the Basic Marketing Class. A short time went by and we were being asked to provide more, and that became the birth of the Advanced Class. Our clients became on ongoing force to allow us to critique, change, delete and add to the classes.
The classes continue to evolve and we encourage anyone in an organization who touches the company’s marketing to take the classes. Whether you are the owner, the manager, or perhaps a programmer or social poster; the classes are designed to talk to you in a methodical, mature and unbiased approach to your marketing efforts.
