Many companies such as Jennifer James featured here, have been able to be successful over an extended period of time by taking marketing to the next level. The owner learned the long way with her first remodeling company. She first had a website that was an online postcard. It did nothing to help grow the business. Then she upgraded the website to help generate leads. Growth continued, and then a couple of years later, a new mature website was created to have a technical and cosmetic advantage. About five more years passed and the company continued to grow exponentially so yet another new website was built to maintain the competitive advantage.
Almost ten years passed since the owner took the Basic Marketing & Website SEO Class and Advanced Marketing & Website SEO Class. The one advantage maintained since all that time was never forgetting what it took to create a marketing machine.
It was now time to build a new Luxury Design company, and she took all that she learned to have a top-notch representation to announced her new business.
Disclaimer: Certain operational details are omitted to protect the contractor’s business strategy.
The goal was simple, and that was to demonstrate a strong commitment to the new business. Jennifer James wanted to ensure the community sees the business not just as Designer, but a Luxury Designer. They wanted to ensure consumers understood there was a physical location to visit, not just working from home. They wanted to make sure consumers appreciated the strong reputation the proceeded the new business.
There was a keen focus on accumulating and organizing content so that everything could be launched at the same time. Not just the website and its Search Engine Optimization components. But also, the Google Profile along with Facebook, Instagram and YouTube too.
Linking is a powerful way to gain credibility to your website. It is technically an easy topic, but more of a strategy since it requires two companies to truly care about each other’s success.
Jennifer James was the designer for a project involving a remodeling contractor. Once the project was completed, a new webpage was created on the Jennifer James website, located inside its Portfolio Pages and titled “Effortless Kitchen Design”. When reading the content of that page, one will find the following text, “IN EUGENE’S COBURG ROAD NEIGHBORHOOD, this kitchen remodel reflects the best of thoughtful kitchen design—where color, cabinetry, and convenience work in harmony. Built by one of our trusted contractor partners, the space features a modern palette and curated materials that bring design-forward living into the everyday.”
Clicking on the “contractor partners” will bring you to the dedicated page for the remodeler. The remodeler’s webpage also references Jennifer James as the designer, and links back to the Jennifer James project page. In essence, both companies tell the story as it relates to their business, while acknowledging the other business’s participation.
